I was beginning to wonder why girls never approach guys? Why does it always have to be the guys to approach girls? Why do guys always have to do the hard work; the approaching, the greeting, the 'asking out' routine', all that?
Now I've never approached a girl, not even asking her out because I can't take the risk of rejection. One girl did approach me back in high school, but that was it.
I've been approaching guys since age 16. First I did the cute coy young giggly girl thing - then became quite the vixen and knew how just a sexy stare could get a guy.
I've probably approached 95% of all the men I dated.
There are girls who do. I have never had a problem sparking up conversation if I think a guy might be interesting. I'm very casual about it. I have also asked men out before, to lunch or for a drink or whatever. I have a couple of girlfriends who do as well.
Perhaps you don't see it because you are not putting yourself out there.

If its really the other way around, then I have to be with a group of friends or co-workers to approach and meet girls. I don't think I could do it individually.
A lot of women don't feel comfortable approaching men until they're a little older and more confident (although, obviously, some are quite comfortable.) Once I hit about 23 or 24, I was, but prior to that, no way would I do that. You're what, 19? Wait a few years and it may happen much more.

We're talking about people approaching one another and yet, you come and leave a negative response directed at me. I pretty much wouldn't do the same about you.
You are 19? Oh yeah - give it time. A teenage girl is no where as confident as a 25 year old girl.
Same with guys - once you mature and become more confident, you will also become more attractive. And have the ability to spark conversations better
Although I love my life - I'd love to be 19 again. Such a great age
19? I don't know if that's really a great age. At this day of age, people my age are somewhat struggling and most don't know what they want in relationships.
