You can't predict anything on me, or even judge me by my age. All you're doing, now, is harassing me and leaving personal/negative attacks

MILs and guys usually get along better, though. Mothers normally want the best for their daughters and like to keep peace with SILs, while guys' mothers often compete for attention and like to offer unsolicited input, which makes them hellish. I know it's not a nice thing to say, but I do prefer my men to be orphans.
Perhaps; I couldn't say so one way or another. In thinking about this topic, I wonder what my BIL calls my parents or my sister calls her husband's parents.

You don't have a mother in law yet, so why would you say that?

I know!!! I've always gotten along great with my boyfriends' moms. LAFan is just a cranky misogynist.

I called my MIL "Mom". We weren't really close (though we got along fine; I just hardly ever saw her) and it felt kind of weird to call her "Mom", but the way I was raised it would've been disrespectful not to call her "Mom".

My husband calls my mom "Mom" and called my dad "Dad".
