I'm Italian, very italian....2nd generation american actually....my family is from norther italy. Anyway---I eat very healthy....Work out 5 days a week and am very active! However  I have a weakness for pastina and knogki!!!

Oh girl I hear ya, Sicilian here -3rd generation, family from Palermo. I wish I could just move Giada into my home, I have hundreds of her recipes. LOL Working out is a must if you eat like us!

I know! Luckily my mom and I were able to convince my Nana to move out here from Italy and cook for us....Nothing like real home made Italian! I'm even doing an awesome job of learning how to cook!!! Yayyy

I see no problem with this whatsoever. First dates so not HAVE to be romantic, sometimes it is just a fun get to know you have a nice dinner thing. And even those types of dates can lead to something special.
I have had guys do this on first dates. Sometimes, they even saved half their meal, and gave the other half to one of the homeless guys hanging out on the streets near our apartments.
I don't see how taking home a box of the rest of dinner ruins the date. Maybe he liked his meal, and wanted to take it to work for lunch the next day.
Sheesh, some of you all are so picky!
