I have seen some people say that this is "low class" behavior, but I really don't see anything wrong with it.

Let's say this is a first date.

What would be your take on it?

Had it been a first date, I wouldn't be looking forward to a second. Did he use a coupon before that, too?!

This was posted on another forum. It was a guy saying that he was bothered that the girl did this. He paid. I honestly don't see that it's a big deal. She probably just didn't want to waste food. But I'm intrigued at what others might think.

Please don't adopt golden rules for dating deal breakers that are as small and insignificant as this, or you'll never find anybody whose up to your standards.

It wouldn't bother me at all. Why let the food go to waste?

I would have to admit that I would think it was in poor taste for my date to ask for a doggie bag on a first date, if I paid. I know I wouldn't do it.

I agree..
I dont remember ever doing that..but If I was a man and paid for my date's dinner, I'd prefer for her to ask for a doggie bag than waste it..thats my money your wasting.
