What sort of personality type among men that women like most.

I keep hearing from women that they fall for personality...but, in reality, they end up living with the character which could be different from the personality that they fell for in the first place.

Any thoughts....

I attract Peter Pans, but would be interested in a man who can take of himself!

When I lived in California I was almost certain women over there preferred men with the "bad boy" personality. If you didn't have a criminal record they wouldn't give you the time of day.

Women who have the "bad boy" syndrome, those are just stuck up animals. If they were in a relationship with a bad boy and things didn't turn out so good, then oh well. They were stupid and got what they deserved. Girls my age, they're really naive these days.

What makes you say confidence.

How can you judge it. I have my way of knowing, but what is the common understanding of "confidence".

It seems on some level objective. It just seems like a cliché that women rattle off about a man, must be confident etc etc.

I want women to respond to this inquiry with their opinions about "confidence" in a man and I will respond with my opinion.

I like super-intelligent, funny, artsy/geeky reformed bad boys/Peter Pans. Emphasis on reformed. The types who lived life to the fullest in their twenties, but have learned from their experiences, matured, and settled down considerably by their thirties yet still have a bit of an edge. I find most other types of men boring, and boring is the kiss of death in my world.
