Q to white and asian ppl: If u date a half Asian/ half white person, would u consider this an interracial relationship??
Why yes and why no?
IMO, Asian dating an half-asian/white is NOT interracial, but white dating a half asian/white IS interracial.
Kinda like black dating half-black/white and white dating half black/white
Whats your opinion???

Down here in Atlanta it seems like it's a big deal to some people, but up in the Twin Cities nobody really cared, at least in the circles I tended to run around in.
I'd love to try chocolate sometime.   But I'm sure my wife would have something to say about that.  |

people consider it an interracial marriage if the two people look like they are from different races (regardless of their actual lineage)
if both people look asian, then not considered inter-racial
if one does NOT look asian, then considered inter-racial
i believe it is up to the people in the couple to self-define for themselves what is interracial. To white people, a chinese with a japanese is NOT interracial because both are asian. however to the people involved, definitely a chinese with a japanese is interracial
