Is there a cure, a perscription medication, a meditation for not being annoyed by just about everything? From the drive to work, the idiot co-workers, the commute home, and then my partner doing those small things that drive me nuts.

It ranges from something as small as not having a towel on the rack. Is there something that can make me relax? Is anyone else annoyed by everyone else too?

When I feel that way, it usually means that I am low on my B-complex vitamins. Once I am able to get my levels up, it mellows me out. I've found that taking a liquid form will get results faster.

I definitly encounter the occasional annoyance however, you can't let everything get to you. Life's too short......just smile and shrugg it off.....I know, easier said than done but pick your battles wisley and if you can't controll it make the best of it.

Oh.....and Yoga helps too I find that when I lay out my Yoga mat and begin my stretching at the end of the day I can release anything from that day that was still on my mind. Plus it's a really good workout too.

Xanax, Ativan, Valium, or deep breathing and letting go of things you cannot change or control.

Do you have OCD? Luvox is commonly prescribed for that. Good luck.

i wouldn't recommend drugs for emotional problems because they mask the symptoms and don't address the underlying causes

ongoing annoyance, irritation at the world can be the tip of the iceberg with regards to anger and rage. some useful resources would be counseling, therapy, anger-management, a 12-step program like Al-Anon, all of which address the emotional component that the opening post describes. Using any of these tools is a gift not only to yourself, but also to the people in your life. Best wishes.

I totally agree!!! I'm majorly against taking drugs for anything that can be cured without them.......I think it's a travisty that now days doctors just drug ppl up because they are too lazy to put in the time and effort.....Do you excersize?? That will help a lot.....not only will you feel better about yourself but you could even do a kickboxing class or something to get rid of some of that tension!

Buddhism, yoga, and/or therapy? That has to really, really suck. I get annoyed easily at times, too. Probably why I'm a bit of a loner, but it's only at times that everything gets under my skin and not a constant thing. Good luck!

I get that way too and I don't know about you, but I find myself easily annoyed at EVERYTHING when I've mis-managed my time.

Therapy is probably a good idea to help you figure out what the root of your annoyance is. Once you identify it you can start working to mitigate it.

Or you could just watch Taxi Driver and see how Travis Bickle handled his annoyance at everything.
