So how old is old in your opinion?
Why are you feeling so ancient?

I'm almost 50 and I don't feel old. I think that it's in part because I have so many things to do. And for me, not having any kids also helps keep me youthful looking. All the women my age that have kids and grandkids look and act a lot older than I do.

Haha I guess I am not old because that is hysterical!

I don't know why I feel ancient. I mean I do feel young but then I see my birthdate and "wow I am really really old" pops into my head.

Yup. You're old. I think you need to go pick out your burial plot and make arrangements to give away all of your worldly possessions. Can I have your stereo?

When one starts to get wrinkles and brown stains on the hands and white hair and walk slowly and a crackling voice - it can be 70, 75, 80...but we shouldn't fool ourselves, we shall look old one day- unless we "croak" earlier, which is not a funny perspective either.
Right now I'm 53, I remember how my grandfathers looked terribly old to me, and I fear the way younger people will look at me in some years...I feel an actual angst...

Right now I'm thinking mid 70s. Whether we like to admit it or not, that is reaching up there. However, of course to someone around 100, 70 is nothing but a spring chicken

hey i am 31, and just yesterday my dh and i were talking about when i got my license, how no one had those big jeeps yet. he was like how long has it been since you got your license that there were no big jeeps????
14 yrs! i cant believe it. when i remember how we didnt have so many things they have now--that is when i realize i am old...

but seriously, my grandmother is in her 70's and she claims there is no way she is old. so i guess like everyone says: you are only as old as you feel.
