From what I've read, girls wouldn't date a guy who has a receding hairline, but that's the way most are. Now I have some hair loss, and when I was in high school, most girls and some guys were bugging me because of my hairline. Now I'm considering going bald, hopefully permanantly.

So do most women, mostly young women, find bald men attractive?

I agree. I hate that when men try to hide their baldness with a few strands of hair.

Some men who start loosing hair early just shave it all off & the Q-ball look can be very sexy IMO. I can think of several celebrities who have done this. Here's a list for inspiration

And they left off many more.... I can think of Billy Zane & Arnold Vosloo (Imhotep from the movie "The Mummy")

I recently met a bald man and was at total ease, hardly noticed it. The lack of hair made his gorgeous eyes stand out more.

Actually, I look for what's inside the person which can not be displayed.

I agree. Some people look sexy with a shaved head. Others look kind of goofy. I like having a little hair to play with, but I would much rather prefer a man who is confident and comfortable with himself than insecure and vain. So if hair loss is a concern, then opt to shave it off and be done with it than to fidget with a toupee or combover all day long.

BTW, you have an unfair poll. By insinuating that those who choose one option are shallow, you only give one real choice. Also, just because a woman isn't out looking for a bald man doesn't mean she won't date one, provided he has other winning qualities.

I think it looks fine as long as its totally shaved, buzzed or cut short.

And just like girls..They have to play up other assets.

Denial of baldness in the comb over or transplants...Not a good look.
Just dont get transplants....I had a friend that had really bad scars from doing that so he couldnt really just do the q-ball-bald thing.

Now what does the head shape have to do with being bald?

I think partially bald or completely bald are both very attractive. The only thing that isn't attractive is a man trying to hide his baldness with a few long hairs - VERY unattractive guys! Keep it short and well trimmed or shave the whole thing off. Either way.... works for me!
