Creepy lookin' people
Ok, let me preface by saying that I am NOT superficial and do NOT judge people on their looks. I am NOT looking for Mr GQ. Average Joe is fine by me.
I happened to "interact" with someone on the internet NOT on a dating site, just briefly, minimal disclosure on my part, but his "emails" seemed normal..he talked about his decent government job, owning two homes, seemed financially stable, gainfully employed, recently divorced yadayada...and he wanted to meet me. I DONT really like to meet someone "sight unseen", I like to put a face to a name. Well, he emails me his pictures-they are the kind you take of yourself (you can tell they are at arms' length), like you would with a camera phone, cheesy ones, like in a dimly lit bathroom-in front of the mirror. he wasnt nekid, but was wearing a wife-beater (UGH #1!!!!!!!!!!) and on top of that, he was CREEPY CREEPY CREEPY looking, beyond words. I mean CREEPY. I have worked in prisons and seen less creepy lookin men. I could have handled "unattractive" or "kinda ugly", but this aint that. IT WAS CREEPY, like making me feel sick to my stomach, nauseated, revolted. If I were to run into someone who looked like that, while walking my dogs, on a rural road, I would immediately be frightened. And it wasnt just his creepy face, it was the creepy expressions. OMG i wish you could see them, you would know what I mean..........
So.................what do you say? how do you handle it?
Let me tell ya, any REASONABLE person would NEVER have shared pics that looked that creepy, to attract a woman. NEVER. I just cant believe that he would think that those pics would not be perceived as disturbing to a woman!!!! Even though I am sure he cant remove the "creep" factor, I would bet that had he just emailed pics of him that someone else has taken, wearing a normal t-shirt, maybe smiling, he would have at least been just creepy and ugly, not creepy and DISTURBING. I just DO NOT GET IT.

how so? (referring to "puzzling")...and of course stopping the interaction, yes, common sense
