IMHO... men tear up over different things. Mine teared up at several things he'd never admit to, but here's a few:
Birth of the first child.
War Heroes stories.
Mine even teared up over an addition of "Home Makeover" with Tye Pennington, featuring a marine who last his leg during wartime. Anything really patriotic and sacrificing.
Men, it's ok to cry, and tell us that you do.
