Here's a farmers pov.

If you love someone,
don't set them free till after wheat harvest
if they return, pay them and use them for corn harvest
if they don't return, they were free labor.

[quote=SifuPhil;4883535] Shakespeare:
if you love someone,
Set her free ....
If she ever comes back, she's yours,
If she doesn't, here's the poison,
suicide yourself for her.

....

C++ Programmer:
if(you-love(m_she))
m_she.free()
if(m_she == NULL)
m_she= new CShe;

..../QUOTE]

LOL... I'm a C/C++ and Java programmer and without initializing the value of m_she, on most Unix operating systems you'll get core dumps if you pass a null parameter value to function "you-love()"

Oops!

Sorry - C++ was never a strong suit for me...I should have stuck with HTML and a side of CSS.

I certainly learned something about Taoism on this board courtesy of almighty Sifu. Good knowledge... I've been a bit prejudiced towards Eastern religions (pardon, philosophies ) before, but now I know to stay away from their followers for a fact. Come to think of it, perhaps there’s no need to worry about it – THEY will stay away from me.

And everyone will be far happier as a result, and we'll all ride velvet unicorns across the marshmallow fields and up over the chocolate rainbow...
