I hope he didn't put something in your dog's food.....

My husband doesn't like dogs and probably won't let me have another one.

Thank you. I miss him so much.

But, because this is a happy thread - I want to thank God that he allowed Roscoe, my Lab, to be with me in the end. Thank you, Jesus!!

When you are ready just go get another dog at the SPCA...that's what I do and my husband just smiles and rolls his eyes. It is better to ask for forgiveness than permission

That's not nice!! I mean, just because I tried that with you does not mean her husband would try to poison her dog!! Good grief...it's all about you, isn't it???

I have been there and know how painful it is, I'm sorry you had to go through it.
I made one mistake, I was so lonely for my pet, that I went and got another one. You cannot replace the pet you had, and you will know when you are ready.
We now have a St.Bernard named Daisy that is five years old and a total love. I'm sure she would rather be romping in the snow than in Arizona, but she is a house dog and just goes with the flow, kind of like a couch potato.

I spent the last ten days visiting my dad in PA on the lake. He will be 88 in January. We drove to Vermont for a pastor's conference. The leaves were just wonderful. Then last Friday my dad and I drove to Corning, NY and went through the Corning Glass Museum...worth the trip! I just drove back to OH today and just enjoyed the fall air and the wonderful colors.

Talked to an old friend of mine from when I was young. She was like a second mother to me and I love her to pieces. We talk frequently but have only seen each other on a few occasions over the years. But, she always lifts my spirits.

Didn't do anything today. Just hung out around the house. Me and Mrs Chow are trying a new dish we saw Bobby Flay make. Hopefully turns out good.

What a great night to sit outside on the patio!
The moon is so bright, stars are twinkling everywhere, and the breeze felt so good.
