Recently there seems to be an abundance of folks waiting for a bulls eye on their backs!! This one is a doozie!! Told his secretary she has been calling him EVERY DAY for 15 months and she is calling the board on him for neglecting her needs

She has only called him twice in a matter of 24 hours. UGH!

People are nutty

[quote=sierraAZ;5664005]Where do you live? I didn't know you were a
neighbor... I've got a passport. Just didn't have it with me as I wasn't planning on going there.

How can you get all your smokes there? You have to herd many non-
smoking friends... You better believe I round up all the non smokersI can.
No, I don't know this restaurant. Is it on the American side? Is there a smoking patio or something? Otherwise I'm not interested. When I go to Nogales, I like eating at El Oasis (on the Mexican side). Looove that Molcajete! Have you been there? I love Molcajete. I don't think we have eaten at the El Oasis, where is it from Obregon?
The La Roca is on the Mexican side and anyone in Mexico can tell you where it is. It is very popular with Americans, because it is so nice. In Mexico you can smoke anywhere, including the shops.
Thank God, they are not like the U.S.
I sent you a direct message, so if you wonder who it is from, it is me.

It's at the end of the shopping part of Obregon (the Southern end; opposite the border) - where 2 streets merge. There's an island with a statue (I believe) in the middle. You can tell youíre there by the honking from all directions and the balcony. They have quite a few flags flying.

I think I've seen La Roca somewhere around the tourist area..., but there's no way to have any view there... Or is it in another part of town? Itís listed also in the article above, but Iím not familiar with the names of the side streets.

There was a huge spread in the Sunday paper a few weeks ago, though, about the drug wars really picking up in Nogales... Supposedly the tourist area is not affected, but if locals are afraid to go out, perhaps we shouldn't be looking for trouble for the time being. The drug folks normally kill each other and I'm not afraid of being targeted; the problem is you may just happen to be in a bullet's way... It's sickening... and all those rollovers on our freeways, too. I generally try to avoid the truckies; now I'm trying to stay away from vans, too.
