Got an email from an old friend...we met on a poetry web site 8 years ago...and I've been so busy lately, he emailed me to shake my tree a little so I'd contact him...
I feel like he's a close girlfriend...he is near and dear to me and I"m so glad he wrote...we do call each other but not as much b/c our schedules are not the same. But he is a dear friend and confidant.

Me? I made homemade chicken soup with chunky vegetables to eat with baked crusty bread.
Cleaned my office. Had about a 2 to 3 hour window, as there's a lull in the "action," to throw out papers, file, and organize. It had been about 3 to 4 months since I last did it. Now I know where things are.
I talked to a couple of people today regarding bringing dogs back from a NC shelter for them. Nice people, really into adopting shelter dogs. And my boyfriend returned from Michigan today. And I'm roasting a chicken, and the house is nice and toasty because of it!
Watching the weather forecast and we are gonna get snow!! Woohoo!! Just a dusting, but it is enough for Mrstewart to be running around the yard tonight/early morning!!
Took a trip down memory lane at work. While I'm not particularly fond of most sites offering "suggestions" based on your previous choices, I love how youtube comes up with related songs. I'm not good at remembering titles of songs or the names of singers/bands, but as soon as I come up with one I can count on them taking me where I wanna go.
