I went to Bath a beautiful Georgian city, had coffee in an outdoor cafe, there was sunshine, blue skies, everyone looked happy , the first proper week of Spring.

I went to a Museum and a couple of lovely Art galleries and on my way home had a drink at another outdoor cafe with my beloved. Tonight we shall be watching some "Due South" episodes ( one of our favourite TV series) and writing some letters for Amnesty International.

All in all a pretty good day !

Built a mechanical robot with my son. The catch here is no electricity. It must be manually operated. Great time with my oldest on that.

Worked for a few hours and then exchanged emails with someone who seems to always put a smile on my face.

Have a great weekend all. I know I will!

Default What did you do today that made you happy?

Today was my day to go for a manicure. Doesn't sound like much but my manicurist does not use the grinder wheel thingie that most shops are using now a days, she hand files. I have my manicure, then a hot paraffin wax treatment for my hands which is the BEST. You dip your hands in the hot wax and then she takes the wax off and massages your hands...very relaxing. After the manicure, I had lunch with my husband..he took the day off so we could spend some time together..then...because I am still recooperating from heart surgery...I get to curl up for a nap with my pit bull. She cuddles real close and keeps me warm while we snooze. I don't know who snores louder, me or my dog! It was a good day!
