Two things today:

1. Returned the contract for a new client. They found me by word-of-mouth, so it was an easy pitch, but still. I like closing deals.

2. Disengaged from stupidity on one of the other forums by unsubbing there. Not my kind of people, as it were.

I'm happy to see this thread cropping up again.

Today, I went for a long walk with a dear friend. It was nice to catch up, and the weather was just perfect.

I put away my "snowmen" collection, and brought out the bunnies (I have a silly little niche in my house that I decorate according to the season) . I love winter, but I'm really looking forward to spring this year.

LOL

I ripped another poster's arguments to shreads on one of the other forums, but that was child's play. What really made me happy today was an excellent workout in the gym and a very productive day.

Washed my pickup. Talking with great friends. One who has gone through the same thing I am facing now. It is a great encouragement.

Had a Relay for Life meeting, this is an important cause for me. Then I went for a walk with my favorite Golden Retriever.

I was coloring with my almost 2 year old daughter and I drew a bear on the paper and she kissed the bear. Made me smile!

Went to the gym and worked out so long my legs were like jello. I love that feeling.

I painted most of the trim in my foyer! It really needed it!

I am pondering colors at my house. However the thought of painting doesn't make me happy.

I bought a file cabinet. This makes me happy because it means I have enough clients to use one.

And for extra giggles, the file folders I bought come in colors. Everywhere I've ever worked, budgetary constraints mandated plain ol' manila folders. I've always wanted colors, so now I have them.

I heart being my own boss.
