I spent the day with my husband and children at an amazing plantation...it is actually the ruins of a once stately manor that was built in the 1700's and it burned in 1916...quite a lovely place.

Then we went out on the boat, went skiing and wake boarding...had a blast!
Yesterday, it wasn't what made ME happy, but it made her happy...and that can be enough.

Bought a light and installed it in the bedroom to replace the fixture just hanging by its wires.

I pulled up MSN this morning and saw that OJ was found guilty. What a fool that guy is, instead of just laying low and playing some golf, counting his lucky stars that he was able to murder two people and get away with it. Instead he's out storming hotel rooms waving guns in the air and acting like an a@@@@@@.

Karma has finally kicked in

OMG, one of the girls at the slumber party was out of control and nasty! But other than her, my daughter had a blast and so did her other friends...the house is trashed but they had a good time!

Now I am painting shutters on the house!

Went and played fetch with the dogs. It's such a cute sight seeing tails wag and those big ol' smiles on their faces.

My American life is finally gonna be punctuated with a Halloween party!Yey! Never dressed up before!

Always wanted a gypsy costume. It can be used for the Ren fair, too. Oh, well, fun or not, gotta be a little practical again...

At first was planning to either buy a whole costume in town (we have an abundance of appropriate stores) or order it online. Wasn't too impressed with the online selection last night. Today went to a thrift store and managed to put the whole outfit together - not from the Halloween section, though. It's amazing what some people wear in real life , God bless their hearts! It didn't really come out much cheaper than a real costume, but it's gonna be unique!

Damn, I make such a cool gypsy I should've been born one! Even started debating between going to the party and walking the streets.

Got a monkey off my back, took a drive with my hubby looking at the beautiful fall colors celebrating his not having a serious illness as we thought.
