anybody else find being asked this really annoying?

so Saturday night I went out and didn't come home to yesterday afternoon. My friend is always asking me details details details. If I get dressed up he asks where you going blah blah,If I am away for a while I'm asked where I was, what I did.I friggin hate that even back when I was a kid with my parents.I have always been of the mind that my business is that......mine.

I don't ask him where he is going and stuff .....I don't care!

And the WEEKDAY "so how was your day?"......well duh!I worked all day it was just peachy,I love waking up early, driving 80 miles and working.

I ask my wife those questions. NOT because I'm checking on her, but I'm interested in her day. And when you cook for a family of five, it's really helpful to know when one's spouse is going to be home.

Nope. I think it's nice to have people interested in your life.
You're sounding a bit ungrateful here! I think you should appreciate your friend more instead of moaning and complaining here about him asking simple questions.

Hobokenkitchen simple questions?Cares about me?Well yeah I care about him to but when he has a PROBLEM I am all ears but man I don't need to know when he leaves, where he is going, when he comes home.....dude just LEAVE!,you are grownup and I'm not the nanny.Same for me.

So whenever I stay out late I get the 3rd degree. What do you want me to say bro?You want the details? He knows I have a friend with benefit thing going on.....ding!So I spent the night with her. What?Do I have to go into "how good was she at that, how good was she at this?" which I GET asked. So we had a few beers, hanged out ,got nasty and crashed thats all I say but its like I gotta give a playlist or something.

If it was marriage yeah I can see the difference about knowing when you will be home but this is different.

Am I right or being a introvert selfish uncaring SOB?

hey!,don't get the wrong Idea that I don't care about my friends,my friends I hold in the highest regard and would go out of my way for them BUT when it comes to time keeping and having to answer to people I don't like that at all.

If he goes out I don't ask what, why, where.I figuire if he wants to tell me he will,he has a girlifriend that he sees sometimes also,I don't ask details,I kinda already know the deal ya know.

I dunno, guess it is my personality,I have NEVER liked having to explain or answer for myself. Can anyone realate too THAT?

I wouldn't care for this third degree, either, so if it's any consolation... at least you're not alone!

I'm the same way. It has to do with me having been on my own from a very young age, being VERY independent and not having to "answer" to anyone for many years. So, when my fiance asks what I'm doing, where I'm going, when I'll be home, etc, etc.. it sometimes gets on my nerves... If I just say I'm going shopping he needs to know details and I feel like - how about you give me some breathing room and stop micromanaging me! LOL
I know - I'm in the same boat - uncaring SOB I guess LOL HAHAHA
