P.S kicking a dog is never funny. Kicking a kid would be funny though.
Agreed. Kicking kids is hilarious - especially the funny little noises they make!

My Mom just passed away. She was 79. I think your hubby and my Mom might have been related. She never had one good thing happen to her in her whole entire life. She remembered every slight. And I do mean every. She would complain about things her brother did to her when they were kids like it happened yesterday.

I think I was switched at birth. I am a Polly and proud of it. I am sure I drove her crazy. I firmly believe that you have a choice. When it rains you can go out an jump in the puddles or you can sit inside and whine because its raining.

We have one of those here at work, so much so I call him "my little dark cloud of doom" - he just looks at me with that look of discontentment LOL I don't really care. We are all sure he's going to snap one day and go on a killing spree LOL I still laugh at him - although, in case he does snap, I've made sure to make friends with him and tell him I'm just joking about the dark cloud thing HAHA

You are horrible. What happens if his mother passed away from a terrible disease? Or what happens if he had a very abusive childhood?

Unless he is undermining you and being a selfish brat like my ex-roommate was then I would understand but a person who is gloomy might be very depressed over understandable circumstances...

See you fit right in!!

Umm dear,if you step away from this forum and outside your little box in the city and get out and about in the world you'll see it's way more negative than I could ever be.

Well you see, this is where we will have to disagree. I have lived in 4 countries for significant periods of time. I have lived in many cities, and also the country. I have travelled. A lot. I have seen many things, had a kind of sucky childhood and yet I STILL think that it is possible to maintain a positive attitude.
If that makes me a Pollyanna, then I am just fine and dandy with that.
You can be in misery gut corner on your own. Well, not on your own actually. You have the joybells.
