Are people getting married younger?
Are people getting married younger? A lot of people I know seem to be getting married in their early 20s now but 10 or 15 years ago, they got married in their late 20s or early 30s. Is something going on?

Getting married before 25-26 is almost always a terrible idea. You will change more in the 5 years after leaving school than you will for the rest of your life.

Why do you say that? It's true! And continuing to grow and change in your 20's is a very good thing imo. It's all about finding your true self and releasing your potential.

I think that people are marrying way too quickly, no matter what their age is. It really seems like couples get engaged after dating only ONE year, then are married by the second anniversary of their first date. What's the fricking rush to get to the altar? Knowing someone for only two years is not enough time to really get to know them.

"almost always....terrible" those are rough words....I was 21....best decision i've ever made. We've been happily married for almost 6 years, together for 10, and we've grown a lot but it's been in sync with eachother.....we both have the same wants and goals and hobbies.....it's been awesome. And...I get to be a young mom which is really cool. To each his own I say but such harsh words....owch.

In some place in China. The parents always wants their daughter get married earlier.like around 20s,they start to looking for bf for them..if you are older than 25years old..then it is hard to liked by men in the countryside. you already had kids when you are 18 years old in old days. NOW people are getting married when they older...don't know what we are looking for...but it is true.. if you live in the city ..then it is different story..I feel the way like we are choose who we will marry in nowdays..no need following parents willing anymore...but some are still...it really depends..
