I was going through my email contacts list and I saw a email address for a old "friend". I have not talked to her in years.

I sent her a "howdy stranger" email and boy now I wish I never did. She does not seem to have changed to much. She still does not use any tact when talking and I always felt like she was always trying to compete with me.

I know I have changed over the last few years and she even mentioned that I sound like a totaly different guy. To bad I cannot say the same for her. :0(

I sent the email to her this week and everyday she has called and sometimes twice a day. Now I remember why we are not friends anymore.

How do I get out of this situation?

I was thinking if just ignoring her calls and blocking her email address.

Just don't answer any of her correspondence

Tell her you're writing from San Quentin State Penitentiary. Tell here you're 'in' for a variety of crimes too numerous to list. Tell her you want to be her pen pal and can't wait until she visits...

I cannot remember, it's been since 2001. But after talking to her this week I came to realize, she gets on my last nerves.

If you have not talked to her since 2001 it should not be a huge deal to "lose contact" again...maybe you could be "Christmas Card Friends"
