I've seen women with broke and loser dudes all the time. Often, they marry and have kids with them. If you don't have money, you need to have something very few others have. If you have charisma, looks, popularity, your income doesn't matter.
I'm a construction worker. But because I'm very good looking and have something very few men have, me making 40-50K/year doesn't matter.
Attractive women are more superficial when it comes to the whole money/status/career thing. That's the main difference I have always noticed. I think they screw themselves over by being like that though. They should probably be a little more open minded and look at someones personality, looks/health, and values. What would you rather have some unhealthy unattractive slob with some money and status or an attractive guy that you have things in common with and have a real romance? Some attractive women think just because a guy has some money or power that the guy is a good match for her...it doesn't work that way.

Very true. And guys shouldn't automatically rule out an average looking girl because a pretty one shows interest.
