I know that is a very broad statement and a huge generalization. But it has been my experience that many of the attractive women I have meet or worked with seem to be more superficial and certainly more materialistic than so-called unattractive women. Also the attractive women usually have an over inflatted opinion of themselves.
I know someone is going to say it, so I'll put it out there now: I know attractive means different things to different people. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.whew.
Most VERY Attractive women are not interested in working on their intellectual skills and interpersonal communication because they are accepted by others just because they are so pretty. Once they age and lose their looks then a real problem occurs.
Unfortunately, we live in a society where physical looks matter. The better those looks, regardless of gender, then the easier it is to obtain certain privileges socially and financially.
This doesn't suggest that people who are more attractive always take advantage of this factor or misuse it or are shallow at all. It isn't a matter of whether it is fair or not....we are the people in society who judge and reward accordingly.
I guess attractive women can afford themselves to be superficial because many people already assume them to be superficial (because they can't believe that beautiful women can have brains too).
Unattractive women have learned through life experience how superficial men can be.
Especially when the boys are trying to impress a very attractive woman.
I would guess yes. I have found more attractive men to be more superficial. I have no reason to believe women are any different.
