Interracial Relationships: Have you ever been in one? (dating, wife, boyfriend)

Anyways, have you guys ever been involved in a interracial relationship? If so, with who? and what race/culture was that specific person?

For the ones who DON'T agree on interracial relationships: tell me why? should men/woman stick to their own culture? Do you have doubts that if you see a man dating a female outside the race/culture as you your culture will be gone? (for example: if a white girl marries a black guy and they have a child and both raise the child to be BLACK-AMERICAN), would that affect you?

I'll start: I've never been involved in a interracial relationship, i don't have a problem with it but i rarely see it in the area i live at.

Oh nothing than a regular couple can't handle. The difference in cultures, the way I was raised compared to the way she was. The relatives, way of thinking, everything is so different. A beautiful blue eyed blonde haired daughter, a challenging son and another baby boy about to pop out. I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Back to the topic. I have not done this unless you consider dating Hispanics from Cuba or Argentina who have a clearly Spanish heritage as dating a minority. In reality, they are transplanted Europeans.

I've only dated caucasian women (that would include Latin Americans who know who their (great)grandparents from Europe are) and make no apologies for it.

I'm a white guy, dated a black gal when I was in grad school. We broke up due to reasons having nothing to do with race. We talked about the racial difference a little at first, but it was really no big deal. Media portrayals of interracial relationships tend to focus on the whole race angle but having been in such relationship I found that race really didn't come up very much. It was just another relationship.

I'm a 6'7" white guy and dated a 5'0" japanese gal not too long ago. Yeah seems like an akward match with our heights She had major issues and was pretty messed up, there were a lot of great sides to her but she had too much baggage to have anything successful with anyone. A shame really and I hope she figures things out, good person overall. I met her parents and didn't really have a lot to say to them as they migrated from Japan 15 years ago to the states and didn't know english too well. I am attracted to all types I live in Maine and have all my whole life there are mostly white people here.
