wow!!! that is scary. i mean i get what you are saying, you didnt just leave and not come back for a year--but ended up being apart for over a year. still scary though.

yes we have both left the house --never at the same time. one just stays and sulks while the other one walks out. maybe an hour or 2.

I can honestly say we've never had a fight so big that one of us ever had to leave the house, let alone be gone for a few days?

We've had them that we don't speak for a couple hours then it's grunts and then it's like we both get tired of the grunting and just start talking again.

So now I ask this honestly.....what do you fight about that's THAT bad?
Or is it power struggles?

leaving for a few days is crazy to me. maybe he is picking the fights so he has an excuse not to spend a couple of nights at home and see someone else without having to explain his absenses. sounds convenient enough to me.
