Alexus, if this is the worst pet peeve you can come up with, life must be pretty good for you
Look, many times we would like to rep a particular post because it was SO good, but we can't because C-D limits the amount of times you can rep someone. So announcing on a thread we would have liked to have repped a post is almost as good as repping it, see? It shows that you are in agreement with what the poster wrote and you want them to know it - it's a friendly gesture, that's all.

My pet peeve for the day...my husbands car was broken into last night!! Possibly while I was on CD chatting it up with you all! The worst past is his office was broken in to last week   Poor guy!
