I am not really into yard work myself, I'll just let him do that stuff. I don't really like being outside too much anyways.

Apartment. Grass is maintained by the complex, instead of by the tenants.

Since I have a yard and no husband, I mow it myself.

During this weekend and today, i finally finished my yard. I am tired!! It normally takes 3 hired hands to get the job done, but i had to do it myself this time.

I have to say, I quickly realized this thread wasn't about a euphemism for personal grooming, but all the posts have been a riot to read from that perspective.

My boyfriend likes to mow the lawn, and I let him, although I'd do it if he didn't want to. He grew up inner city, without a lawn to mow, whereas I grew up rurally, with multiple acres to mow. I've done enough lawn mowing to last me a long time, so since he likes to do it, I gladly relinquish it to him...it's all very new and novel to him, so have at it. I garden, though...he's not much interested in that, and I like it.
