Ann Coulter makes an interesting observation, actually many, on women and the vote. To wit:
"I think [women] should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."
Brutally pithful as always. Yet, she must speak to (at least) the people who buy her books and tune in to watch her.
Thoughts on whether society is better off since women got the vote? This includes personal relationships, "happiness index," unstoppable rise of gangs, all the social breakdown issues.
Full disclosure: I have to agree with Mme. Coulter. Why not let men run things? After all, that is what we are designed for. Even Sarah Barracuda (love the glasses and Naughty Monkeys) raises questions about her capacity multiprocess as both a mother (especially to a special needs child) and VP. Who gets priority? The taxpayers or Trig?

Given the percentage of women in the workforce and the number of women responsible for raising their families I believe that statement is unfounded. I do believe women would rather see tax dollars spent on education and domestic issues as opposed to war and corporate bailouts.

I really dont see how the female vote has had any impact on the above.
Yes!! I agree with Ann Coulter. Women know how to spend money but saving money and budgeting is foreign to them. Look at the way they shop: If a pair of shoes are $100 they'll shrug their shoulders. But when you put a 10% off sign on the shoes then they'll get all giggly over the "great sale item".
What the hell?? Talk about stereotyping. I'm female and guess what?? All my husband is good for is to make the money and spending it. I'm the one investing it, saving it, making sure we have a nest egg. I'm the one that keeps him informed of what's going on in our household. This is ridiculous ... and to take away women's suffrage because Ann Coulter thinks this?? I don't even know where to begin on how this topic is absolutely asinine.
Ahhh, come on Foma - don't be a fuddy duddy. Are you trying to tell us that all-seeing, all-knowing Ann Coulter doesn't have all the answers to the secrets of the universe???
