I'd say online dating with no pics in a profile - whether it's you or someone else - is a waste of time. When I browse for chicks - for thing I look for is looks - yeah, most guys are like that. I responded to one nice ad for a chick, she liked my profile but when she sent her her pic it was a long distance shot of her and I could tell she was a dog. So no more waste of my time.
So you people, don't waste people's time with online dating if you don't post a pic. But I guess you do this so your coworkers won't see your ad...
I never post pics, but it's because I don't want girls to stalk me.
It's also because if someone gives me the time of day before they even know what I look like, then they are the type of person that a relationship can develop with.
As long as they aren't a "dog" as you put it heh...
In my opinion, so many people complain about "how she/he didn't look like her pic" - and yet, it only takes a MINUTE to ask someone to send a verified pic with her/him holding a handwritten sign with her/his handle and website name on it so there are no in-person surprises. Kind of like I did in my collage in this profile here. There are ways to "see" if someone is up-to-date or actually are who they claim to be. In this day and age with cameras, there is no excuse to not ask for such verification.

Comments on my rant?
Just out of curiosity, when YOU post a pic on a dating site, is it a man-pic or a pic of you in one of your many skirtsuits or cheerleader outfits?
Match.com - I posted a man pic but stated slyly that I look good both ways.
First and only Craigslist ad - I put a teaser pic of my car in the ad, said I was a well employed crossdresser that looks good both ways and I got only 2 curious replies from women, no date. Then a tranny chaser hit on me but I told him I don't go that way. Because I mentioned I was a crossdresser - I couldn't put my pic there or else maybe a coworker might see me. But actually it was stupid putting my modded unique car there too.

When I was looking online for somebody, I didn't care if they had a pic or not. That way you got to meet the person, not the picture. I dated several before I met my wife through online personals. Never saw a pic before meeting in person and never had a dog. Maybe you got your standards set too high, Stud!
