There is one of these on Plentyoffish.com which I use. They show you pics of the last people on-line and this "girl" is ALWAYS in the group....blonde, young, dressed in not much and very fit....lol...definitely some sort of porn\escort thing going on there.

I think it depends on the demographics...the person's stats, across many areas...
Well try to keep this in mind too. You might feel like it's outnumbered by men BUT mot of the man on dating sites are married! I can't begin to tell you how many winks, emails, etc I would get only to find out they are married. So legitimately, the ones who ARE actually single and looking I don't feel outnumbers the women.
Well I kinda agree that women get more mails and may be offers to meet guys via dating but I am particularly very skeptical of meeting someone especially when you get to hear all the weird things on MySpace and FB...even in chat rooms...I have heard from my male friends that many females are actually males!!! that is why I switched to using Bluepont on my cell...when I turn it on - it scans profile of men who are in the near vicinity and I get an sms with the guy's profile and I can then chose to meet him there and then...has anyone else here used it?...
I had a profile on one of the dating sites and wasn't get much response from the guys I had either "winked" or "e-mailed" (about 15 in all). They either ignored me, or said they were already dating someone and "wanted to see how things went". I had been completely honest in my profile in that I was divorced and renting an apartment....maybe that turned them off?
Then I read some of the other gal's profiles and saw a lot of them (in my age group: 60+ yrs old) had stated they were widows and owned a home outright.
Ummm....I thought. Now, in my profile I had not posted a photo (which I realize cuts my chances for replies). But since there was no photo, I decided to try an experiment: I posted a second profile...with the same attributes of my original posting (interests, hobbies, etc.) except that in the 2nd profile I stated I was a widow and owned my home free and clear. Whoa!!! In the first 24 hours I received "winks" and/or "e-mails" from the same guys that I had contacted before (the ones who turned me down)...and they all wanted to meet me right away!! Many gave their phone numbers, or suggested a place to meet (some wanted to meet that very day).
Ok, so it's been said that at my age the guys want either a "nurse or a purse"...gee, could that be true?
