So Christmas is Right around the corner... well sort of.

I'm thinking of getting something engraved for that special someone and my question is it "uhm kind of ok" or "not ok" to include my name on the engraving.

For example:
"[Others Person Name]
love [my name]"
eh something like that, whatever the message i kind of want to have my sig on it.

What do you think?

Of course it is ok...or you could put your initials. While I was going through my grandmothers jewelry box, many of her charms were engraved to "to DBS my love, XYZ" ...I thought that was sweet and sort of mysterious for those of us wondering who "XYZ" is!

Engraving is always a nice touch that makes a gift very personal.

That is very sweet.......what is it that you're having engraved? I think whatever message you have engraved, as long as its personal, will be fine.

Engraving is overrated a bit, as when breakups occur the piece has to be thrown away.

Noone wants a piece of jewelry or something with an ex's name on it.

True...but its a nice thought and I doubt he's thinking about what she'll care about when/if they breakup.
