My tv favorite shows are House, NCIS, NUMB3RS, Criminal Minds, CSI:NY, and Bones. Also Ugly Betty. Watching any of them will put me in a better mood.

Two and a Half Men is another great show. And at one point, the Yahoo tv guide rated it as family oriented!! So much for family values.

Have any of you noticed this about yourselves??
No. I don't watch TV when I'm in a bad mood, partly because seeing the awful shows that are on these days will only put in a worse mood. 100s of channels and nothing good to watch while the few good shows that come out of Hollywood get canceled.

No, when I'm in a bad mood, I go work out. It puts me in a better mood and has added bonus of making me healthier.

I hate the idiot box. If I'm in a bad mood, I read. Preferably the novels of Patrick O'Brian or P.G. Wodehouse. The essays of Robert Benchley or Dorothy Parker work, too. Because I think squandering a few hours in front of the television set might be the most depressing thing of all.

Rarely is the television on in my home but it seems when I am in a foul mood I really go all out and watch creepy shows...it is a bummer because it is hard to get out of the funk!
