Since I have been in a foul mood today I realized I have been watching some terribly morbid shows on tv. I am not usually a television watcher and when I do turn it on I do not watch creepy programs.
Have any of you noticed this about yourselves??
No. I don't watch TV when I'm in a bad mood, partly because seeing the awful shows that are on these days will only put in a worse mood. 100s of channels and nothing good to watch while the few good shows that come out of Hollywood get canceled.
No, when I'm in a bad mood, I go work out. It puts me in a better mood and has added bonus of making me healthier.
I hate the idiot box. If I'm in a bad mood, I read. Preferably the novels of Patrick O'Brian or P.G. Wodehouse. The essays of Robert Benchley or Dorothy Parker work, too. Because I think squandering a few hours in front of the television set might be the most depressing thing of all.

Rarely is the television on in my home but it seems when I am in a foul mood I really go all out and watch creepy shows...it is a bummer because it is hard to get out of the funk!
