My 1st name was quite by accident....I used a sign in that we used for many other places, not realizing that's how my name would show up.
About the 10th time I got called a "he" I changed it.
it makes no difference to me what so ever. unless it is a gender specific topic like menstruation, the gender of the poster is of little importance. very few issues here make me wonder about a posters gender.
sometimes i am suprised when i find out the gender. in the immigration forum everyone sounded like angry men. most of them are bitter women. i referred to a poster as sir, and well SHE didnt take kindly to that.
but even if a poster used a name like sierra, i still would knot if that is a man or a woman. i know a guy named sierra (middle name pine[hippy parents]). it could be that a poster likes the sierra. or is from the cali sierras. who knows.
i dont preoccupt my time with a posters gender. or whether they are "hiding" it. i focus on their words.
It does not bother me either what gender they are. I agree with you on the immigration forum, your discription of them fit to a tee.
That is why I like it here, it does not cause my blood pressure to go up,
Lol
I didn't give it a thought. It is my profession. I'm a girl.
I thought you were a guy too!!!
