Well okay then, given that I would not have to choose between my children, I will say my sister. Although, she died and I'm not ready to have lunch with her that way.

But, I would like to have lunch with her and ask her why the heck she passed on and left me to deal with all the family problems!

Seriously though. She'd be the one. I miss her.

I would pick Chrissy Hynde. She rocks. And Id like to get some input on how she stayed so successful for so long.

Hands down, I want to have lunch with Julia Child. And, yes, I'm hoping she'll cook and let me assist ... even if it's only assistance in drinking wine. What a lady!

I would choose my husband. We are with each other 24/7 but he is my best friend and my favorite person to be with.

Makes you wanna gag, doesn't it LOL. But it's true.

While it sounds good, I mean gagging , there has to be another person in the world you'd like to have lunch with other that the 24/7 fixture...

I was just thinking, while I picked my maternal grandmother, I'm sure that my mom would pick her father. She placed her dad on a pedestal, but didn't do that with her mom. My grandmother lived much longer and spent her last years in Taiwan and Hong Kong. But had it been my grandfather by himself and needing assisted living, my mom would have insisted that he come to the US and be with her. He was a career diplomat and she the supportive wife in the background, even though she graduated from law school. She was a quiet and gracious lady. I'm sorry that I didn't have a better chance to get to know her.

I would choose my mother, she passed away several years ago and we used to have lunch together a lot, I miss her terribly.
I'm with you on that one. I would choose my mom too. She has been gone for 15 years and I miss her every single day of my life. If I could choose two people, I'd include my dad who left this Earth 21 years ago. Number 3 and 4 would be my maternal grandma and grandpa.

I think she's trying to tell you that you are a bit of an "Idiealist".

I think I would love to have lunch with my mother who passed away a few years ago. This way she could meet her grandchildren and they could actually give her a hug rather than just looking at her in a picture.
