Man-up is a general request to get real.

yzette is pointing out a trend that is not voluntary.
Baloney, it's quite natural.

marriage is down 50%, there is a reason but this can be corrected.
Correct how so and why?

i did respond to yoru question. the observations were not just mine but those of many. what is true today may have not been true yesterday. however what men do today will determine what happens tomarrow.
for the most part, so far guys get the dirty end of the stick in divorce, yzette assurrances that that is no longer the case is not reassuring, 42 million divorces later.
This is another non-response. I'm not surprised. You have no idea why a 28 year old with high student loan debt and zero savings should get a prenup. You just can't admit it.

man up is a sexist comment please stop. if u r a real man do this if your are a real man do that. stop it.
a student with a $80k plus non dischargeable loan debt has become a liability to anyone that marries them, and this is a genderless issue. the chances are that he or she is going to end up working for kelly girl is excellent. clearly not marriage material, again a genderless decision.
Man up is not a sexist comment...so put on your big boys pants and get over it!!
more of the same w/o respect there cant be much of a dialog can there?
i dont want to get over your rude behavior. i would for u to get over your rude behavior. what have your remarks about my clothes got to do with the topic.

The only people marrying today with any success are the educated. Most of the time we have the debt. Mod cut: personal attack.
Telling a man to get over it is definitely misandric. Nobody ever tells a woman to woman up or get over it.
You're joking, right? My girlfriends tell me to 'man up' all the time if I'm being whiny! At my last job (which was 11 men and me, the lone woman) the guys wouldn't even hesitate to tell me to 'get over it'. Hell, one of them would just tell me I was being bitchy and to knock it off. I always found that helpful, to be honest.
Just last week and friend of mine's boyfriend broke up with her. She was whining about it so I told her to 'take a shot of whiskey and get over it'. She thanked me for the 'tough love'. Sometimes we need it.
