It can be a major let down when the guy is pitiful and pathetic in bed. He sometimes operates sex like a crippled drunk person would operate a tractor.

No but the last time I fooled around. It seemed like the guy had lost all eye hand coordination and bodily control/coordination.....it was pitiful and a complete waste of time.

It's been my experience that the men who talk about it the most have the least to talk about. Look for the guys with "quiet confidence"

Because the man is supposed to be dominating ~not saying that sex always has to be this way but in general men are perceived as the more dominant sex...I said in general...and they are supposed to be dominating in the bedroom as well. This domination is supposed to lead to wild passionate mind blowing sex. Hence, our big let down when it's not.
People don't have sex to have mediocre sex, they have sex for the pleasure of it, at least most people I know including myself do. If you can have mind blowing sex on your own (by yourself) then you should be able to have it with others as well. Maybe that has something to do with it as too!
Now, all this said, I agree that it takes two to tango and sometimes people just literally do not groove well together and the blame has to go somewhere and you will never hear a woman or man say "I had horrible sex last night and it was my fault!"
