I wouldn't consider that "flirting", but simply a normal greeting for that particular situation - you are meeting someone that you sort of already know. Now if she gave you a "look", that changes things.
I'm shy with strangers...I think guys see me as "stand-offish", or maybe even a bit stuck-up...but I'm far from it. I just hate someone catching me looking - I get completely embarrassed.  I know I shouldn't - I should smile, or flirt a bit - I just have a hard time doing that. Now flirting with someone I KNOW, totally different. Easy and yep I do THAT all the time.

yes, I definately like to flirt with guys. but I prefer to do more sublte flirting, more like playful teasing, rather than clever lines, etc. and I like to touch, as in a slight brush of my hand against his arm, or leg if we're sitting close.

I would describe myself as a guy that does well with women as far as being able to get a date, but I am not good when it comes to flirting with women in public, especially when they initiate it.
