I'm 37 now,but also it may be different for women because theres usually other factors involved in 'reconnecting'
It's funny how women are so warm and open and embracing, but can flip so quick and so final. But I guess that's the point; when you are that open and giving going in, you're all the more vulnerable and hurt by a slight, and it's all that much harder to forgive and forget. Or do you find that some women shut down after enough hurts, even to each other?
Rolling stone...I dont really care to talk to anyone from my past. Im just not the social needy type. I prefer to connect with places and nature. People talk too much and cause problems...not to mention the smell...

It could be you think you're funny, or could be you're one of those guys I've heard about who's had a lifetime of being so overlooked and abused by women mostly due to his own inadequacies that now your vision is so blurred by bitterness that you're ready to skydive off Mt. Washington and onto Carson Street.

I have friends from years past, even decades past, we keep in touch. But meeting new friends are good too. Ive moved around a lot over the years and still they manage to find me, lol.
Heck, even the ex's and I are friends now..better friends than we were when we were married.

Funny how so many of us have moved around a lot, a lot more than people did in times past. I guess that's why disconnection is such an issue today.
