NO means NO.
Why don't some people get that? Especially if they're intoxicated?
I saw a guy hit on two different women, one was a bartender, and he did stop with her (probably because she would have stopped with him!), but he chose to hit on a young woman who was 24, he was 54. Old enough to be her father...and in fact, that's how she responded to him. Emphatic "no", he's still trying.

Guys don't get it. They think if they bother you enough you will give in and say Yes.

Probably didn't help that he was intoxicated...but I think she was a little bit too.
He told her she had lovely "eyeballs"...and asked me what I thought about them. I replied, "I can't see not having eyeballs. Eyeballs are important."

I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not so sure.

Where have you been? Didn't you know that alcohol is a magic elixer?
Not only does this magic elixer make other people more attractive but it renders it's host eternally optimistic.
Awesome stuff!

I tried my luck last summer with a 34 yo (I'm 53) single mother : emphatic NO!
But I wouldn't dream to try again, I felt so WOUNDED, HUMILIATED , I felt (maybe wrongly) like the UNDERDOG, so much so that of late I didn't hit on AnYONE, and probably won't in the future, it's so humiliating, distressing to be turned down in such a brutal, direct way.
I, for one, just can't stand it! I just want to crawl back inside my doghouse and howl.

It's not just associated with this senerio...but even friends and family..especially my sister... you tell her no, and she doesn't hear you...keeps right on insisting that you have to do this, or that???? And asks you again, a month later? She doesn't know when to stop....
I've noted on many occassions, a lot of times you can't say, I don't want to go b/c...but actually must say NO in order for people to hear you? and even then, sometimes they don't??? I don't get it...
and by the way, men like that, really, really make my skin crawl....

I will find this type of behavior repulsive until I'm 54 and looking for a date. THEN it will be okay...

Having grown up with 3 older sisters I learned the "no means no" lesson quite early by seeing some the sh*t my sisters had to deal with. It was a lesson I was able to teach my 3 daughters. It also helped during my dating days because in the long run things work out alot better when ladies know that you actually do respect them and thier wishes.
