I thought that woman wanting their equal status means that they also pay their way?
You are mistaken. Not every woman wanted equal rights. A few loud mouths did and they ruined the way things have always been for all of us. I am personally offended when (ironically enough) men seem to think all women wanted equal rights. They did not.
That's like saying that all Americans wanted George W Bush to be the President when we all know that isn't true. Very nearly 50% wanted Gore to be President.
So I'm guessing that those women who didn't want equal status are content to raise children, get their hands dirty doing the cooking and cleaning and get domestically abused?

Thanks for straightening that out,I'll have to remember that

Yes.

Not all men abuse women but I have no clue what you refer to as "domestically abused." Married or not, physical abuse is still illegal. Married or not, rape is still rape. Married or not, assault and battery is still assault and battery. Married or not, slavery is still slavery.
Men without jobs are out of luck. The men have been hit harder by the "recession" then women. The women today are unforgiving and unsympathetic about this. They are unconcerned about anyone but themselves. It's not even a female survival instinct anymore, the girls today are just plain mean. My husband knows a guy who it took him 2 years to find a new job. He even got rejected for minimum wage work. He applied himself everyday in everyway, and was torn up, and depressed. Nobody helped him at all. He is a great guy in every regard, normally an alpha male too, tossed aside when things got tough. He finally landed a job, and it barely pays his bills. Not much hanky panky for him anymore. Women are increasingly materialistic and unobtainable, and men have been decreasing in every single aspect of masculinity. It is the most lousy thing I have ever seen occur, I am 55 years old, never seen such a lousy thing. Females acting like men is so destructive, it seems homicidal for humans. Three of my girlfriends have teen daughters dating guys as old as their grandpas, just using them, and dating around too. The real men of healthy age are losing out big time because the work dried up, and women scooped up a lot of the jobs out there. It is backwards. Plus, the women act like an unemployed man is worthless and pathetic, which is abusive and counter productive. Men need women to nourish and cultivate them to be successful. But today the girls trample over men in every regard, it is bad news.
I've been in-and-out of work for the past few years, and have had no problem. I had a gf for a while, and just recently met a new girl with potential.
I'm not happy about my financial situation at all. I'd say I'm bitter about it. I was unfairly laid off, and I watch while a lot of people with less skills/experience/personality keep their jobs because they know the right people.
But with women it's all about attitude. Well, maybe not 'all', but a vast majority of attractive women are attracted to someone who is at least ambitious. At the very least, they are never attracted to whiny and desperate...unless you can play a mean guitar.
Unemployment happens all the time to everyone. But when I'm unemployed, I feel like a loser not worthy of a gal. But now I'm nearing 40 and I say, at least I got some youth left! And then I reason, after I was unemployed some time I did become a winner and get a good job. So now I say I should give myself a break and even date women when I'm unemployed. But then I'd have to go dutch and can't pay for them; only for me - gotta be the only way unemployed.
How do you feel about this, women? What were your expereinces?
How about unemployed guys dating experiences too? How the women take it?
It's hard having life on hold unemployed.
It depends on who you meet. If you are not working for a long time and the woman is working, i could see there being problems evolving over time....but it's case by case.
