Anyone getting anything positive out of their dating\relationship woes?

When I'm not happy with my love-life, I started to hit the gym. The good news is that I've lost 25lbs in 8 weeks. The bad news is I expect to lose 15-20 more by Christmas and be completely back in top shape.

How's that bad news?! I'd say the bad news would be gaining them back around Christmas.

The bad news is that I don't see my dating problems going away anytime soon lol. Whoopeee, I just met another gal that wants to go out as activity partners but doesn't see things working out otherwise because she wants guys >6ft. tall. Oh well, better than sitting around and she is nice, pretty and classy. Other gal I've gone on 3 dates with now I like but won't work out LT...so torn between moving on now or continuing to just date.

Nah, I won't gain them back at Christmas, I'm pretty militant about diet and exercise now and it has become habit. I actually got a picture of myself holding an authentic "mathguy" sign...I will have to post it up tonight.

One of my exes would throw herself intensely into her schoolwork whenever her relationship/social life went to heck. Now she's one of the youngest people to ever get their own lab at the NIH.

Another friend of mine cleans like a fiend when there is trouble...which is good, b/c she is a packrat.

Whenever I had problems, I would be at the gym and also meeting and making all sorts of new friends.

Good grief... I prefer taller guys myself (who doesn’t), but to dismiss somebody you otherwise like just because he's not over 6ft. is ridiculous!

Alright, looking forward to the sign!

Thanks! I'm pretty muscular (think wrestler build), I just developed a "candy coating" over the years. As such, with an extremely proper diet and exercise I burn calories like crazy.

Nope. I guess I'm just more in tune with my needs when it's over...
