Food for thought - it's human nature to screw with people who seem to get really riled up over basically nothing. Oh, and it's kinda fun too.

Sorry, I should revise the post to say:

Is it OK to date your friend's EXFIANCE?

Agreed, and that human nature you're referring to is called antagonism. Not a good human nature, by the way, but good try though!

Well, I guess to put it bluntly, don't wear your emotions on your sleeve and people won't screw with you.

And when her friend started dating the exfiance, her friend, in essence, sort of brought back the exfiance back into that woman's life. Talk about awkwardness.

I could "see" how some would date an exboyfriend of a friend, but an exfiance? That's a bit far fetched. I don't think I could ever date a friend's ex.
I'd have to dump my friend and I'd blame her for it. Because if I didnt want my ex in my life and she brought him indirectly back into my life- she has to go. Id feel sick to the stomache seeing her engagement ring on her finger that used to be mine (not literally of course). And when catch up with each other there is a BIG chunk that would have to be left out to keep things pleasant lol

I met my husband when he was going out with my (now) best friend; they broke up and a few years afterward we hooked up. Now we've got two kids and my best friend is our daughter's Godmother. Everybody gets along just fine!
