I met my husband when he was going out with my (now) best friend; they broke up and a few years afterward we hooked up. Now we've got two kids and my best friend is our daughter's Godmother. Everybody gets along just fine!
did you ask permission to date him? I always wonder if there is etiquette with that lol

I think it's cool it worked out well for you guys. Some people just can't handle those things, though. I think I know more who couldn't than could.
Playing around is FINE. But, when I told you to prefer to get back into the topic, and you continue to joke around, and then prick joke at me, again, and then again, after I repeatedly tried to get back into the topic, it made me wonder if you are:
1. stupid (can't read, etc.)/ stubborn, or
2. simply ignore my wishes and wants to antagonize.
So which is it? I've told you that I simply wants answers to my question about (well, read from the FIRST thread again). But, your repeated "jokes" AFTER the fact? Yeah, you're a real joker buddy!
I've got to say that you brought this on yourself by majorly over reacting to a fun comment.
To answer the original question, I would have no problem with a friend marrying one of my exes as long as I was completely finished with him first! I would like to be asked as well.

what if you lost touch with your ex and your friend, would you want them to seek you out to ask or is it fair game? Im wondering becuase I was in that situation last year lol
I suppose it depends on the relationship you have with your friend, the relationship your friend had with his or her ex, and the manner of their break-up. I'm sure there are instances when it's perfectly fine. Honestly, if one of my friends wanted to marry my ex-husband, I'd say it was one of the greatest moves they could make - provided they were well-suited. He's a fantastic person and I think the same of my friends.
But, you leave my goats alone! (silly Weird Al Yankovic reference)

Bah, nothing's weird nowadays... Denny Crane (not ours! ) was just soooooo lovingly looking at a sheep after he mistakenly took Viagra instead of some other pill!
Oh come on, everybody is sloppy seconds. Unless you're dating a twelve year old, (I wouldn't recomend that though).
