It would be funny asking for anything but a phone number but honestly I'd prefer if I had to choose an AIM name, Yahoo name, or MSN name, whichever she uses. I use Adium so I get three-in-one, my messenger couldn't care less what anyone else uses it just groups 'em all together anyway. But I hate talking to girls on the phone, it's just an awkward way to converse with anyone. It's good for quick decisions that must be done, like business phone calls. It's bad for conversations. You get awkward silences, you can't tell if the other person is about to speak, you can't do anything else really (except menial mindless tasks; but you can't write an e-mail and talk on the phone effectively, or read an article and talk on the phone). It's annoying. If I'm talking to a girl I prefer in person or on messenger. If I'm talking to her on AIM I can be talking to 3-4 other people at the same time or browsing the net or getting work done, more likely, like working on a script or writing up e-mails, etc.
