Mine will mouth the words to me, as I walk past him sometimes...
I think we both say it about the same....

I usually initiate the I Love You. Sometimes wife does. I hope my male license doesn't get revoked for this!

That may change once you're married for awhile

My husband and I say "I love you" at least once an hour - and I'm sure we both say it first an equal number of times. We both work from home so we're never apart. Over the past six years the only time we've ever been apart from each other for more than a few hours was when I was in the hospital and when he drove our cats across the country from Florida to Colorado (his parents flew in from England to help him do the drive and "see" America while I took a plane to get there early). Other than that we're always together and we're very affectionate. Not only do we say the words but we have little private codes that say "I love you" - the way we act probably makes people who aren't so affectionate sick.

There's a such thing as being too syrupy

I think we're about even on this one. Always whoever is taking off first. And for the record, we've been married 20 years and together 24.

My wife says it so much that I think she would say it to anyone, drives me nuts. I show it often, say it rarely. When I say it I mean it, I don't just say it "because". Most of the time my response to the wife is "yep". I show it more than she does, she says it more than I do. It's a "given" in my book, or I wouldn't have married her, nor she married me.

I do tell the kids plenty of times during the day, I think they need that. I also tell them to do their chores/homework........they need that too.

To each their own, nobody's right or wrong......except me......I'm always right.

Agreed also. She seems to throw it around like it's nothing.

Yes, I try to say it as much as possible. Her, not so much, although she really surprised me last week.
