No. I'm thankful even if I get a stocking full of coal and mud.

Well, Emma Thompson (wife) handled the confrontation with her husband over his straying eyes (he never went thru with the adultery; the woman he was attracted to was portrayed as quite the predatory female) with dignity. Husband admitted he'd been a fool and was deeply ashamed.

The rest of the movie, though, was great. It has turned into one of those "Christmas" movies, though of an adult variety. The "Hugh Grant Dances" bit is one of the highlights

I would be more than pleased, actually shocked if my husband had something for me on Christmass, one gift in 6 yrs 5 of those married. He works long hours and is exhausted by the end of the week still it would be nice, to get something besides go buy what you want( I feel guilty spending on my self something I get from my Mom)

I know what you mean here, but its ok to go buy yourself something, especially at Christmas, or for your birthday.
if you don`t, then you will have nothing, right?

One time my aunt and uncle gave me a pen with a cupid on it for Christmas. I was like WTH and the pen didn't even work.
