I don't think this is an internet thing. I had a friend who would make plans and routinely forget or suddenly have something else she had to do or who wouldn't commit to a plan on a day she knew she had off until she confirmed nothing better was going on. I ditched that friend. Stupid and disrespectful.
I have another friend who cannot be on time to save her own life. She's on the fence with me.
