You can certainly drive the new car - as long as you buy her a newer one first. Otherwise buck up. The difference in gas is a small price to pay for domestic tranquility.

Next time, buy a stick shift.

See - in our case it's different. When he gets a new car it's always a station wagon. Aint no way in Hell this Diva's gonna be seen rollin' thru da hood in a station wagon! I'm waiting for the prices to come down on the Hemi Challenger SRT8 and I'm gonna go out and git me one. The good news is he has absolutely no interest in driving something hot and sweet!

so she already got to drive a new car (murano) and she wants to drive this newest one, even tho she knows it will cost more in gas?

do purchases and shiny objects really diminish womens reasoning skills that much?

thats pretty greedy of her.

i say you do what works best for the check book. she will get over it.

plus, camrys are excellent cars that handle very well. evne if you dont deserve, you should get the thrill of driving a new camry. she got to drive her murano. its only fair.

What about sending the Murano out to get professionally detailed? And they'll even spray new car scent in it if you ask them to...

Right now, all of the daily driven cars are mine. When gas was high, I would let my boyfriend drive the Civic to work on my days off. But now, the Civic and the Integra are about equal in fuel efficiency. The old Integra engine was tired at 240k miles, so he swapped in a younger engine, and it's one that takes regular instead of premium gas. The original engine was a GSR motor, and the new engine is one from an LS.

You drive it one week, she drives it the next. Now take turns and don't be selfish!
