We were at our church retreat and one of the women there had a little too much wine (We're Episcopalians, so wherever there are four, there's a fifth). So she proceeds to reveal how, whenever she and her husband go on vacation, his old girlfriend goes, too.
So, being mischievous, I ask, "How exactly does that work?" She kind of figures out that she's dug herself into a hole. But then she starts sitting on the laps of every guy there, me included.
The next morning, they left really, really early. We didn't see them at church for about two or three months.
We are Episcopalians too and I can see something like that happening at our church...
Why did her husbands ex girlfriend go with them on vacations??

Sheesh, when people tell me the Bible is a juicy read I don't believe 'em and have no patience to read it. Those churches of yours sound like fun, peeps... provided I were into this sort of fun...

Well, don't get us wrong. We don't recommend this kind o'activity. We're just making the case that, just because somebody attends church, that doesn't mean that they are noble and pure. Heck, I don't pretend to be some holier-than-thou person. Then again, I'm not taking ex-girlfriends on vacations with my wife and me.

Same thing that goes on everywhere else but I don't avoid those places because of it.
